On September 25, the 2024 World Medical Tourism and Global Health (Boao) Conference and the Medical Care, Health Preservation, and Scientific Anti-Aging Development Forum were grandly held in Haikou, Hainan Province. The forum was organized by the Organizing Committee of the Medical Tourism and Global Health (Boao) Conference; hosted by Hainan Nanhai Health Industry Research Institute and Guohé Medical and Health Tourism Promotion Center (Hainan) Co., Ltd.; and co-organized by the Hainan Provincial Association of Non-Government Medical Institutions and the Hainan Provincial Scientific Health Preservation Association. The forum attracted over 200 renowned medical experts, scholars, and entrepreneur representatives from across Hainan and beyond, gathering together to engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in medical care, health preservation, medical tourism, scientific anti-aging, and more.
The forum, guided by the core concept of "Embracing Change, Reshaping the Future," aimed to bring together wisdom from all sectors. Through sharing the latest research achievements and technological trends by experts and scholars from various fields, it sought to establish an authoritative exchange platform for the future development of the broader health industry, fostering the exchange and collision of ideas and jointly promoting innovation and development within the industry.
Our Chief Scientist, Professor Wang Jianxun, was invited to attend the forum and delivered a keynote speech on "Current Status and Prospects of Cell Therapy," engaging in in-depth discussions with numerous experts and scholars to jointly explore the latest trends in technological innovation and industry development. Professor Wang Jianxun noted at the forum that viral vectors, as core raw materials in the cell therapy field, have a direct and significant impact on the quality and efficiency of the industrialization of cell therapy products. Currently, China is facing the challenge of a continuously expanding cancer patient population amid relatively strained medical resources. As the only service provider in China capable of offering one-stop cell and gene therapy solutions with industrial-grade retroviral vector technology, Shenzhen Cell Valley also possesses the distinct advantage of highquality cell therapy product preparation. The company has successfully established in-depth cooperation frameworks with multiple domestic public medical institutions, committed to breaking through the capacity and cost bottlenecks of cell and gene therapy products, ensuring that these therapies can truly benefit a broader population of cancer patients and bring new hope to those in need.
At this forum, Shenzhen Cell Valley demonstrated its core technological advantages and forward-looking research layout in the cell and gene therapy field to all participants, laying a solid foundation for potential in-depth cooperation in the future.
