On June 28, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Biomedical Field Enterprise Visit and Exchange Activity, hosted by the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association and organized by Shenzhen Cell Valley, invited nearly fifty enterprise representatives from related fields in the Greater Bay Area to visit Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange. Shenzhen Cell Valley Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chief Scientist Professor Wang Jianxun, Assistant to the Chairman Wei Zheng, Director of the General Administration Office Luan Zhishi, Deputy Head of R&D Sun Rui, and Marketing Supervisor Gulnara Halmou warmly received the attending enterprise representatives and held symposium discussions.
Led by Luan Zhishi, Director of the General Administration Office of Shenzhen Cell Valley, the visiting enterprise representatives toured the smart exhibition hall, where they received an initial introduction to the corporate vision, founder team, development history, the history of CAR-T development, and service platform construction.
During the symposium, Shenzhen Cell Valley Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan and Chief Scientist Professor Wang Jianxun extended a warm welcome to the visiting enterprise representatives and expressed sincere gratitude to the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association as the organizer of the event. Deputy Head of R&D Sun Rui then provided a detailed introduction to Shenzhen Cell Valley's development strategy, core technologies, service philosophy, and industry advantages. Chairman Shi Yuanyuan stated that enterprises in the biomedical field should take this event as an opportunity to break down communication barriers, achieve complementary advantages in resource sharing, technology exchange, and market expansion among enterprises, and continuously promote industrial upgrading and achievement translation.
Zhang Caiwan, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association, stated that the Association, as a platform for information communication and exchange among government, industry, academia, research, and application, fully leverages its bridging role. This enterprise visit and exchange activity aims to build a communication platform for enterprises in biomedical-related fields in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, strengthen interactive exchanges among enterprises and industry experts, promote deep integration and high-quality sustainable development of Shenzhen's biomedical industry, foster innovation, and achieve win-win cooperation.
Subsequently, the enterprise representatives engaged in lively discussions on the development of the cell and gene therapy field, platform cooperation, and directions and approaches for jointly promoting industry development. Through the exchange and discussion among enterprise representatives, strategic plans and development goals were jointly formulated. As a major public service platform for Shenzhen's biomedical industry, Shenzhen Cell Valley is willing to join hands with the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association to build and develop, creating a communication platform for biomedical enterprises, academia, and government in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and contributing to the high-quality development of biomedicine in the region.
About the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association
The Shenzhen Biomedical Industry Promotion Association was officially registered with the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau in January 2015. Its supervising unit is the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology. In 2018, it received the AAAA rating in the Shenzhen social organization uation.
